spirit of olympics

Again, the Chinese women's volleyball team made it -- after striving for 20 years... I was excited with tears when I saw this news. Waldner failed, after trying his best. I was very sad, almost with tears.
It seems that I am still moved by the spirit of Olympics, higher, faster, and stronger. Maybe that's why I enjoy the time working here, a place where many strangers get to know each other by their ACM T-shirt, or share their experience in IOI... We are still young, still pursuing the perfection, making things faster, better and stronger, as inspired by the spirit of Olympics. Powered by such spirit, the product has a hope to excel, the company has a hope to survive.
We are still young, still have time to chase the better, and the better... Even we failed, we will smile, since we have tried.

the wind beneath my wing

Heard this beautiful song from radio today. It's sunset hour and I was driving on the Central Express. An F18 was roaring back from the colorful clouds. What a beautiful scene. And later I got this beautiful site from Google:
http://www.stinalisa.com/Wind.html

random thought: em... but if I'm always the wind beneath your wing, you cannot fly with your own confidence... So, sometimes I have to let you fly without my wind... :P You need some experience of flying in the storm, though I wish you won't see any storm any time...

Running along the bay shore

Finally, I don't need to ride the bikes in Gym any more. There is a trail along the Bay Shore. It's so nice to have a jogging after a long day of programming! Blue sky, blue water, green grass, and fresh air...:)

beautiful day

Suddenly a song about LA came from my mp3... Oh, it's Twins' "Beautiful Day". It sings "Let's drive to LA and enjoy the nice weather and fresh air."

Em.... I wonder why people in Hongkong like LA so much? Well, probably not because of the fresh air, but the good Chinese food. Right after a terrible dinner in a cafe in Sunnyval, I am missing LA too.
